The Thorn Experience: a partnership based on trust and innovation

With a history dating back over 85 years, Thorn has earned a reputation of innovation and expertise. Along the way they have developed ongoing partnerships, some spanning more than 50 years, with local authorities and municipalities in many of the 100 countries that they operate in. These have become known as the Thorn Experience. Durham County Council offers just one example of this in action.

In April, on the occasion of the International Year of Light declared by the United Nations, the Zumtobel Group organised a top-level event at the Dornbirn headquarters as well as at the Bregenz Festspielhaus. 950 guests from 27 countries were invited to attend a program of inspiring lectures and a presentation of product innovations as well as of the winners of the Zumtobel Group Award
